Square Books regulars know Robert Inman's previous novels: Home Fires Burning, Old Dogs and Children, and Dairy Queen Days. Now we're excited to announce that he'll be returning to the store on January 24th to read from his newest novel, Captain Saturday.

Told with Inman's characteristic grace and skill, the story follows Will Baggett, a Raleigh, NC weatherman whose life falls apart all at once. He loses his job, his wife, and he's mistakenly brought up on several nasty criminal charges.

There will be a reception with refreshments beginning at 5 p.m. Reading at 5:30 p.m.
