Tuesday, 5 p.m.
Set in eighteenth century France, James
Reese's debut novel The
Book of Shadows is a darkly erotic yet disturbingly
beautiful story of a woman, Herculine, who was raised
as an orphan in a convent. Reese's literary style
has been compared to that of Bram Stoker and A.S.
Byatt.
There will be a reception and signing beginning at 5p.m.
with Mr. Reese's reading at 5:30. If you will be unable to
attend the event but would like a signed copy of The Book
of Shadows, please contact
us in advance.
