Tupelo, MS resident Joe Edd Morris has written his first novel called Land Where My Fathers Died. It's the story of Jo Shelby Ferguson who, after serving a prison sentence for a crime he didn't commit, heads out to Mexico in search of a clue to the history of his family.

There will be a reception and signing at 5 p.m., reading at 5:30.
