Native Mississippian Laurie Parker has made a name for herself as a writer and illustrator of great children's books. Everywhere in Mississippi and Mississippi Alphabet have been favorites here at Square Books. We're excited to announce that she's returning with a new book called The Turtle Saver.

The Turtle Saver tells a story that most of us have experienced... stopping to help a turtle crossing the highway. This time, doing so sets off an interesting chain of events.
