Madison Smartt Bell is one of Square Books' favorite writers. His interests are vast and his writing has therefore covered everything from a historical look at Haiti to novels and short stories. His newest book Anything Goes tells the story of a young man learning about the world through playing in a rock & roll band. It's a perspective many of us would love to have.
