by Scott Westerfield
|
Peeps by Scott Westerfield is, in a word, awesome. The story follows
Cal, a member of the Night Watch, who finds and cure peeps,
or parasite positives.Cal is a carrier, meaning he has all
of the peeps strengths and none of their weaknesses from
the parasite inside him. Kind of like Blade. To him peeps
are his enemy, but could they also be mankind's only hope?
Also, read up on some interesting,(and disturbing), facts
about parasites.

POINT
BLANK By Anthony Horowitz
A
stunning action novel. Alex Rider takes on a new set of
traps and puzzles as he spies on a "finishing" school
subject to two murders and the disapearrances of two rich
and powerful men. Both have trouble with their sons and
send them to this odd place called "Point Blanc." An excellent
choice for adventure and action-seekers. Ages 10-14

Flavia
Bujor was thirteen years old when she wrote Prophecy
of the Stones. It is an amazing tale of three
young girls and their chosen destinies. Each of their
names, Opal, Amber, and Jade, will lead them to their
shared special gift, through paths of love, trials, and
sorrow. Beautifully written by one of the most creative
minds. (10 and up)
