Dropped on her aunts' porch in the middle of the night, Effie is bitter about her new accommodations. Soon, though, she discovers that her aunts, initially seeming old and out-of-touch, can offer her a more fun and magical life and she could ever dream. Debut author Sophie Escabasse had me laughing out loud throughout this graphic novel, effortlessly blending the problems of a typical new kid with a suit of armor librarian and other fantastical shenanigans

— From Molly

There's a new witch in town! Life in Brooklyn takes a strange turn when Effie discovers MAGIC runs in the family.

A middle-grade graphic novel adventure filled with magical hjinks for fans of Phoebe and Her Unicorn and Making Friends.
