About the Author
After graduating from The University of Mississippi, Katie lived along the Mississippi River in Memphis and still spends as much time as possible in Oxford. Memories made throughout the Mississippi River Basin, combined with her family's history of military service, inspire her love of this country reflected in the series. In addition to sharing the River Royals with young readers, she has a career in pharmaceutical sales. Katie, her husband and three daughters live in Houston. Upon graduating from The University of Texas at Austin and earning her JD from The University of Texas School of Law and University College London, Sarah practiced as a litigation associate at an international law firm in Houston, Texas. Trading the excitement of the courtroom for the enjoyment of writing children's books, she lives in Houston with her husband and two young patriots, their son and daughter.
