The Rabbit Listened is the story of a toddler with block vision and productivity. Stumped by the possibly intentional collapse of a play block tower, many characters offer solace and support, covering the gamut of valid responses. Finally, when the child relates the whole incident and ideas for revenge or rebuilding, the fact that somebody simply listens and hears is most inspiring.

I love this fun new book by two of my favorites. Not only are the illustrations darling and silly, but the story and dialogue are to die for. Just kidding.

From Kathy- The soothing, life-affirming words of Newbery Award Winner Matt De La Pena (Last Stop on Market Street) seamlessly blend with the glorious illustrations of Loren Long (OTIS series) to create a hopeful, far-reaching portrait of love in all its many facets. Captivating.

One of the top five books on our fiction wall over the course of my over twenty years of book selling. Fans of The Hunger Games, The Maze Runner, The Knife of Never Letting Go, and Ship Breaker MUST READ!
Science fiction at its finest - eerily relevant - a stand alone ahead of its time.

Hilarious and ridiculous sibling rivalry takes the stage. Funny pictures aside, a page-driving story makes Dory the coolest character on the chapter book scene.
