Miller's Opening Night

Miller's Opening Night is the story of a little mouse family who lives in an old abandoned theater in Augusta, Georgia. It's a story of dreams, aspirations, and possibilities. Anyone -- young or old -- will relate to the characters in this tale. A most interesting feature of the book is that it's based on a real-life campaign to reopen the beautiful, historic Miller Theater in Augusta, Georgia, closed since 1985. Author Levi Hill says there are many aspects of realism in this story as feelings of doubt and disappointment have at times challenged the team in its efforts to restore the landmark in downtown Augusta. The author wrote the book with the intent of donating the proceeds of its sale to restore the theater. His idea is to inspire those who buy the book, knowing that they too are playing a role in bringing the theater back to life. "It's big project," said Hill, "but together we can do it. Together, let's do something big!"
