We tend to wait until later in the year before announcing
books that will be published in the fall, but sometimes it just can't be
helped. In this case, we are enthusiastic about two very big books
and are now taking orders.
John Grisham publishes a new legal thriller fairly reliably each year, and Sycamore Row is next, coming out October 22. The exciting news about Sycamore Row (Doubleday, 28.95) is that it's a sequel to John's first book and the book many of his fans claim as a favorite -- A Time To Kill, which brings Jake Brigance back to life in Ford County. We will have signed copies and they are now available for orders.

September 10 will be another memorable day as it's both the publication and the Square Books event date for Robert Khayat's memoir, The Education of a Lifetime
(Nautilus,
24.95). Robert Khayat was the 14th and much-beloved
Chancellor of the University of Mississippi, serving from 1995 - 2009.
An Academic All-American Ole Miss football player who would one day win
the NFL Lifetime Achievement Award and the National Football
Foundation's Distinguished American Award, Khayat led the University
through an unprecedented period of progress marked by expansion,
financial growth, academic excellence, and long-sought-for,
hard-fought-for national respect and recognition. He has long been an
avid reader and a person of candor, so we expect great things from this
memoir and are now taking orders for signed copies.
