Thank you for your interest in working at Square Books. We are always on the lookout for great booksellers, so applications to work at the stores are always available. Just ask any booksellers at the main store or Square Books Jr. and be prepared to fill the application out on site.
We will keep it on file and whenever we have a need for another bookseller, we review the applications and call applicants to schedule interviews. The ideal bookseller is a reader who appreciates books and is interested in the book industry. Genre preference is not important, being a big reader is. Applicants should be willing to work hard with good customer service skills. Training and gaining experience take time, so we are looking for individuals who will be able to work with us for at least one year.
